President

Vice President

The Vice President is responsible for generating ideas to fulfill the President’s programming vision and to enhance weekly meeting content. The Vice President should collaborate with the President to define and carry out operational oversights, as needed.

This position requires, but is not limited to: facilitating elections, attending and promoting the organization at recruitment events, and reviewing the constitution annually. If the Presidential position is vacant, the Vice President will assume the duties of the President until a special election can be held to fill the Presidential position.

Director of External Relations

The Director of External Relations is responsible for assisting the President in programming alumni content. The Director of External Relations is required to have at least one year of prior experience on the InvestHer Executive Board.

This position requires, but is not limited to: guest speaker topics and events, networking events, in-person recruitment, and business partnership programs. The Director of External Relations shall act as the primary Forte Foundation contact within the organization. The Director of External Relations shall serve as the primary contact between alumni and the organization, researching and contacting the best alumni for the needs of the organization.

Treasurer

The Treasurer serves as the official financial contact and liaison for the organization and is responsible for managing cooperation between the organization and external funding entities.

This position requires, but is not limited to: determining funding resources, managing the organization’s account and transactions, managing any potential InvestHer scholarship fund, and allocating financial resources as determined by the Executive Board.

Communications & Events Coordinator

The Communications & Event Coordinator shall oversee the planning and execution of group-wide special events, as delegated by the President.

This position requires, but is not limited to: submitting meeting rooms and event registration through Engage, contacting personnel, and acquiring needed resources, networking events, professional trips, and member socials. The position is also responsible for maintaining records and key information so the organization can operate smoothly. Duties may include keeping record of executive team minutes, sending meeting reminders via email and GroupMe, and sending out a summary of each meeting to members. Should this position be vacant, responsibilities should be transferred to the President.

Marketing Chair

The Marketing Chair leads internal and external promotional efforts. Marketing responsibilities include managing social media accounts, assisting the President with recruitment, and creating promotional materials for these efforts.

This position requires, but is not limited to: posting weekly or daily content (depending on the platform), capturing promotional content at meetings, creating and distributing potential apparel, creating and distributing recruitment materials, and attending student organization fairs. This role may require the creation of new pages or redesigning existing pages to best fit the efforts and plans determined by the Executive Board.
